We are a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization enabling our supporters to claim tax deductions on their contributions. We are also registered with the NYS Charities Bureau. All proceeds of donations will go towards the building and maintenance of the park. Funding will be necessary for the site clearing, pruning, site regrading, fence modifications, site furnishings, tools and equipment, permits, among other expenses. In addition, we are establishing a committed group of volunteers who can assist in the areas of site maintenance, legal document review, gatekeeping, graphics/murals, website upkeep, accounting, construction/handyman tasks, landscaping, fundraising, and the like. We hope to raise an initial 50K for the project.
